I am a Manchester-based Styal Lodge Wedding Photographer, and have produced natural Styal Lodge Wedding Photography for a number of years. Unique Cheshire Wedding Venue

Styal Lodge is a unique Cheshire wedding venue, based a few minutes away from Manchester Airport. But you would never really tell as it’s so quiet there, and you could seemingly be miles from anywhere. There is a stunning garden to the rear, with a love seat…perfect for natural couple portraits as my being your Styal Lodge wedding photographer. In Summer, your wedding guests can relax on the luxurious garden furniture and enjoy a Pimms or two in the sunshine. You can also photograph your family group photos here if you wish, or at the front of the lodge. You have great choices! The food is top quality too, and has always been produced by Pink Pepper every time I have worked there. Sarah & Neil run a fantastic wedding reception!

Wedding Preparations at Styal Lodge

Styal Lodge has it’s own Bridal Suite (literally) next door to the ceremony room, so preparations can be relaxed with no travel involved. The room is very spacious with sofas and a bathroom…and lots of mirrors! Perfect for the preparations photos I like to capture for you, as your Styal Lodge wedding photographer. The light can be stunning in the room, with a totally glazed wall allowing as much daylight in as you need, or…you can simply draw the linen curtains for total privacy. Whatever you want. The Groomsmen can get ready in the nearby changing room in the Golf Club. Literally a minute’s walk away. So everything is perfectly contained for your Styal Lodge wedding photography preparations photos.

Styal Lodge Wedding Ceremony

As I say, the Bride (or partner number one) doesn’t have far to walk from the Bridal Suite to the ceremony. It is literally about 3m to the end of the aisle. The shot of you (both?) walking up the aisle is a classic image, and one I always aim to capture as your Styal Lodge wedding photographer. The ceremony itself is in quite an open space, so all your guests can see you both share your vows at your Styal Lodge wedding. There is enough space to quietly and unobtrusively move around to capture different angles of you both during your wedding ceremony. As part of my being your Styal Lodge wedding photographer I try to capture as much as possible - the readings, the little looks and laughs as things go slightly wrong, or when the wedding rings are a tight fit (happens a lot this one!)
