2024 has been another brilliant year for the 30+ weddings I have been invited to. These days I only photograph around 30 weddings, to give my clients the best service I can, whilst allowing time to shoot my corporate and commercial work.

This year, I have photographed weddings mostly in the Ribble Valley, with some brilliant clients, and some equally brilliant wedding colleagues. I have also been invited to photograph weddings at some fantastic new venues to me.

This year I have photographed weddings in Tipis, Manor Houses, in Barns and converted Mills, even a brilliant home wedding in their conservatory! I have captured elopements, ‘second time arounders’ a football-themed church ceremony where dad was shown a red card (look out for the photo) and same sex weddings - all unique wedding days, and all have been great fun.

The new Volvo has replaced the old fourteen year old stalwart, respectfully retired to a neighbour with 180K miles on the clock - the car, not Harry!

All in all, 2024 has been fantastic. Hard work, fun, emotional - but thoroughly enjoyable.

So, onwards into 2025, and thirty or so new adventures to photograph.
