Bridal Preparations At Mum’s House

Jess and the girls were getting ready at Jess’ mum’s house in nearby Garstang, about 20 mins away from Bartle Hall. When I arrived for Bridal prep photos, the pre-party was in full swing. Music was on loud, the girls were laughing and joking, and the atmosphere was brilliant for my being a Bartle Hall Wedding Photographer. Curiously, there was no wedding dress on show for me to photograph. No, that was kept a secret until later, when a quick trip with mum to the next door neighbour’s produced Jess’ stunning wedding dress to a lot of whoops and smiles from the girls. THEN I got to photograph it, together with her shoes and accessories (I do love a few detail shots as a Bartle Hall Wedding Photographer).

Little White Books Wedding Fairs

Jess & Richard booked me from meeting me at one of the Little White Books wedding fairs at Eaves Hall. We hit it off straight away, and the couple loved my simple approach to photographing weddings…and the fact NO heart-shaped group photos were on the menu! Booked as their Bartle Hall Wedding Photographer within a few days. No messing about.

Wedding Photos At Bartle Hall

Jess & Richard booked me to be their Bartle Hall Wedding Photographer on the basis that I simply ‘did my thing’ with no fuss or forcing awkward posing on them. BUT…they did want THAT Hollywood dip photo. So, we nailed it, first time before the speeches and the wedding breakfast. Jess & Richard’s wedding photos at Bartle Hall were to be in two parts, with a second fifteen minute session after the speeches had finished, in the late afternoon light. I love the way the light changes, every visit as a Bartle Hall Wedding Photographer, for every Bartle Hall wedding client.

Jess & Richard’s wedding entertainment was provided by the talented Wayne Farrow, who sang the first dance song live, together with a moving Daddy Daughter dance - giving me some great shots as Jess & Richard’s Bartle Hall Wedding Photographer.
