Eaves Hall Wedding Photography Styled Shoot

Styled Wedding Shoot at Eaves Hall

This styled wedding shoot at Eaves Hall was organised by Little White Books in conjunction with the venue for late September. A styled shoot is a collaboration of wedding suppliers getting together to promote their services. I photograph quite a few of them (I really MUST blog more!) throughout the year. Always good fun, with great banter, they are a perfect way to spend a wet Tuesday in March…or a sunny Thursday in September!) ‘Team LWB’ assembled nice and early on the day, and the weather was looking promising. We had a lot to shoot, with our brilliant models Lydia & Chris from Angels Elite Models. The Dresses and Suits were hanging ready, hair and makeup was well underway by the time I arrived to discuss locations for the various setups. I started my shoot in the Ballroom / Ceremony Room at Eaves Hall, set ups next to the wonderful welcome signs by New Cards On The Block, and Rose Signage Company all beautifully dressed by Flowers With Passion. Lydia & Chris (and myself) have worked together a few times. The chemistry between our ‘married couple’ was brilliant - making each other laugh and putting each other off at times…but mostly nailing every shot with ease. My styled wedding shoot at Eaves Hall was well underway. A quick costume change, and we changed backgrounds. Chris’ suits were supplied by Groom, whilst Lydia’s wedding dresses by Amelia’s Bridal. With the sun breaking through the clouds, we ventured outside for more natural looking photos. Outside we had the choice of wedding cars from Destiny Wedding Cars & Malvern Wedding Cars plus that stunning archway around the front door by Fleurs & Ink. Perfect to add to our styled shoot at Eaves Hall, with the main Hall itself making a stunning backdrop too.

Little White Books - Wedding Planning Magazine

Little White Books is an industry-leading wedding planning magazine and website. Based in Lancashire, Little White Books produce a bi-annual wedding magazine, covering every aspect of planning your ideal wedding. The magazine also covers a large area from Cheshire, across to Liverpool and up through Lancashire, the Lake District and Cumbria, showcasing the very best wedding venues in the region. Highly respected, Little White Books also host a lot of wedding fairs throughout the region too, including the two largest wedding fairs in Lancashire, The Great Northern Wedding Show every April & October at the USN Arena Bolton. I have been associated with Little White Books for a few years now, and photograph the front covers for their magazines, a project I’m always keen on working on, as the theme and location for each shoot changes stylistically. Here’s the latest cover with an Autumnal feel, shot at Holmes Mill.

The Famous Swing at Eaves Hall

After a short photoshoot with both sets of wedding cars, we moved around the side of Eaves Hall to photograph their famous swing. The swing had been beautifully dressed by Gingerbread Events. I was very pleased with this section of the shoot day, the swing looked amazing, and THAT solo photo of Lydia posing on the swing is just gorgeous. I’m biased, but I just point the things. Lydia looked stunning with her hair styled by the talented Carly from Carly’s Creations, and her makeup by the ever-chirpy Laura Jane. This Eaves Hall Wedding photography styled shoot was running like clockwork, with shot after shot being nailed by Team LWB. My Nikons were nice and warm!

The Dining Room at Eaves Hall

Later in the afternoon, we moved into the beautifully dressed Dining Room in Eaves Hall. Both Gingerbread Events and Fleurs Designs had been busy! The room was stunning! I opted to bring some studio lighting inside to replicate the (now faded) sunlight, for Lydia & Chris to ‘dance’ for us on camera. It worked a treat, and the photos looked great. Team LWB were happy with the results. Good! A great team effort then…

Here’s some of my favourite photos from the day…
