Cranage Hall Wedding Photographer
Laura contacted me to be hers and Leigh’s Cranage Hall wedding photographer, based on my folio. My style was just ‘what she was looking for’. This was to be my first time as a Cranage Hall wedding photographer too, so was really looking forward to it. As Laura & Leigh’s Cranage Hall wedding photographer, this was to be one of the weddings where I meet my clients on the day for the first time. Laura & Leigh’s wedding ceremony was to be outside in the garden, under the stunning pagoda. The weather was looking good for this Cranage Hall wedding photographer to create some natural wedding photography at this Cheshire wedding venue.
Wedding photography at Cranage Hall Estate
My natural style of wedding photography suited Laura & Leigh perfectly. They didn’t want to pose for too many photos, but leave me to document their day as their Cranage Hall wedding photographer. Brilliant! So I travelled light (apart from a 70-200mm zoom for the outdoor ceremony which went straight back to reception for safe keeping afterwards!) Wedding photography at Cranage Hall Estate reminds me a little of Shrigley Hall - the buildings are similar in style. Laura & the girls were getting ready in a suite far away from the boys’ room, but we had scheduled some time for my being a Cranage Hall wedding photographer to capture the organised chaos of the girls’ preparations and the boys’ more sedate but hilarious time together in the morning. The weather was still looking great for my being a Cranage Hall wedding photographer, and was looking forward to the outdoor ceremony. Everything was running to time (weirdly…ha ha) and the guests were arriving for what promised to be a brilliant, laughter-filled day. Leigh and Best Man were greeting guests and grabbing a couple of pre-ceremony beers to steady the nerves (so they claimed) and my day as a Cranage Hall wedding photographer was well underway. As the time approached, the guests were all seated outside, expectant and excited. Leigh and Best Man were still having fun and enjoying the moment as Laura, her dad and the girls were in formation to walk down the aisle. With a mixture of happy and more emotional tears from both Laura and her bridesmaids….we were good to go. I caught some of the emotion on my Nikon too, as part of my Cranage Hall wedding photographer commission.
Natural Wedding Photos at a Cheshire wedding
My style of wedding photography is to keep things natural, with no gimmicks or heavy Instagram-type filters. I’d like to think that my photography will still look good in years to come - classic, natural and relaxed. As a Cranage Hall wedding photographer for Laura & Leigh’s big day at this stunning Cheshire venue, I think I ticked all three boxes. What do you think?
